Milestone Monday: Wiesblatt Gets His 100th Career Point

On February 18, 2020, Ozzy Wiesblatt recorded the 100th point of his WHL career with this goal against the Regina Pats. Wiesblatt also had two assists in the game as part of a 5-2 win over the Pats.

Wiesblatt finished the 2019-20 season, his second year in the WHL, with 25 goals and 45 assists in 64 games. In his WHL career so far, the 25th overall pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft has 41 goals and 69 assists.

The Calgary, AB prospect is eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft. Wiesblatt was ranked 19th among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings for the draft scheduled for October 9 and 10, 2020.
