Milestone Monday: Kosior Strikes in WHL Debut

On Sept. 20, 2019, Landon Kosior made an immediate impact in his WHL debut against the Saskatoon Blades.

The Regina product picked up his first career goal in the second period of the 2019-20 season opener, snapping a shot past Nolan Maier as he skated in from the blueline.

Kosior finished his rookie season in the WHL with five goals and 18 assists in 64 games played. He tied for second in scoring among Raiders defenceman and was third among all first-year defenders in the WHL.

At the end of his abbreviated debut sesason in the WHL, Kosior was the co-recipient of the Belle Merrell & Calla Grasley Award as Scholastic Player of the Year Presented By The Rotary Club.
