Raiders Recall Three

Prince Albert SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have recalled three players today, including Luke Mahura, Rylan Parenteau and Ben Verrall.

Mahura, a 5’9”, 168-pound forward, has scored 9 goals and 5 assists this season with the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The St. Albert, Albert native has previously appeared in 44 games with the Raiders over the past two seasons, registering a goal and 8 penalty minutes.


Parenteau, a goaltender hailing from Saskatoon, has played in 25 games for the Weyburn Red Wings of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, recording a 2.77 goals against average and .929 save percentage.


Verrall, a product of Saskatoon, has played 20 games with the Moose Jaw Generals this season, tallying 4 assists. The 6’2”, 190-pound defenceman played in a single preseason contest with the Raiders, recording an assist.


They will replace the spots left open in the Raiders lineup as Matteo Gennaro, Nick McBride and Brendan Guhle are currently representing Team Pacific at the World Under-17 Challenge in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
