Raiders Acquire Tkatch from Cougars

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 19-year-old forward Jordan Tkatch and a 6th round selection in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for 20-year-old forward Chance Braid and 18-year-old forward Lance Yaremchuk.

Tkatch has spent the past three seasons in Prince George, totalling 33 goals and 49 assists for 82 points in 196 career games, including personal bests last year when he recorded 16 goals and 46 points. The 6’, 187 pound centre was the Cougars 2nd round selection, 31st overall in 2010.

The Prud’Homme, Saskatchewan product played his midget hockey at the Art Hauser Centre, suiting up for the Prince Albert Mintos in 2010-2011, recording 13 goals and 13 assists in 37 games. 

“We would like to thanks Chance for his service to the Raiders. We wish him and Lance well in Prince George next year,” said Raiders General Manager Bruno Campese.  “We are pleased to acquire Tkatch, who provides us an experienced two-way forward who is versatile and coming off a career high season.”
