Raiders Collecting Toques And Mitts With Parkland Ambulance

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders and Parkland Ambulance are partnering to help keep the people of Prince Albert warm.

On Tuesday, December 27, Parkland Ambulance will be on hand when the Raiders take on the Saskatoon Blades to collect new or gently used toques, mitts, scarves and other warm clothes prior to the game. All of the clothing or blankets collected will be donated to local charities.

“Warm winter gear collected by Parkland Ambulance Care through partnerships, like those with the Prince Albert Raiders, keep our community safe,” said Parkland Ambulance Director of Public Affairs Lyle Karasiuk. “They share the caring of other with those who might not have much or need a ‘mitten up’ to keep them safe this winter. We look forward to a great response from Raider fans on December 27.”

“We’re very happy to partner with Parkland Ambulance to help people in need during the winter,” said Raiders business manager Michael Scissons. “Our fans have been very supportive of these collections in the pass and we look forward to that support again.”
