Nolan Allan Invited to Hockey Canada’s World Junior Team Summer Camp

PRINCE ALBERT – The good news keeps coming for the Prince Albert Raiders organization in relation to Hockey Canada announcements.  This morning Hockey Canada named Nolan Allan as one of the forty-four skaters participating in Canada’s National Junior Team summer camp.

Nolan, a Chicago Blackhawks prospect) is one of eight NHL first-round draft picks that will participate in the camp and is one of twenty-six NHL draft picks listed on the camp roster.

Nolan Allan has represented Canada on the national level twice before.  In the 2019-20 season, he was named to Canada Team Red at the U17 Hockey Challenge.  Last year, Allan was a member of the Gold-Medal-winning Men’s National U18 team that played in Texas.

Early this month, Raider Prospects Ryder Ritchie & Cole Peardon were invited to Hockey Canada’s U17 summer camp; and yesterday, Raider goaltender coach Kelly Guard was named to the coaching staff of the Men’s National U18 team that will participate in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup which will be played in Red Deer this summer.
