Leavitt Machinery Preview – Game 52 at Regina

RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (21-20-8-2) hit the road tonight to take on the Regina Pats (26-22-5-0) at the Brandt Centre. Last night, the Raiders picked up a crucial 5-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades at the Art Hauser Centre. Parker Kelly got the scoring started with two first-period goals. After Logan Christensen brought the Blades back within one, Brett Leason and Curtis Miske scored goals midway through the second period to put P.A. up 4-1. Eric Florchuk cut into the Raiders’ lead again, but Cole Fonstad buried a power-play goal late in the middle frame to put the game away. Ian Scott earned his 15th win of the season by making 19 saves.

VS. REGINA: This is the sixth of eight contests between the Raiders and the Pats. The Raiders have dropped all five previous games to the Pats, although four have been one-goal games and two were decided in overtime.
