FOUR IN A ROW: The Raiders collected their fourth straight win with a 5-2 win over the Hitmen in Calgary. The win flipped the script against the Hitmen, after falling 6-2 and 6-1 in their previous two contests. Prince Albert also picked up their fifth win over their last six games, seeming to find their groove.

NEW ACQUISITION FITTING IN: Easton Kovacs has found his comfort zone in the Raiders’ roster. The 18 year-old defenceman picked up an assist in the win on Friday night, giving him two points in two games in a Raider jersey.

STAR SWEEP: Three Raiders collected game stars in Friday’s win in Calgary. Captain Evan Herman took home third star honours with a goal in the win, which was his 50th career WHL goal. Alternate captain Sloan Stanick took home second star honours with four assists in the game, while Keaton Sorensen nabbed first star with two goals and two assists in the contest.

STEADY PACE: Landon Kosior has been the Raiders’ leading scorer for most of the season, and he continued to add to his point total on Friday. The overage defenceman notched a goal and an assist in the win against Calgary, giving him 23 points in 21 games.

UP NEXT: The Raiders wrap up the Alberta part of their road trip on Sunday afternoon in Medicine Hat. Puck drop is 5pm CST. After that, the team will head to Manitoba for games in Brandon and Winnipeg. Prince Albert returns home for five straight games starting on December 7th. They will head into the holiday break with a game against the Spokane Chiefs to wrap up a five game homestand.
