Raiders Announce Date for 2021-22 Home Opener

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders will be back in the Art Hauser Centre in October.

The Raiders open the 2021-22 Regular Season at home against the Regina Pats on Friday, October 1, beginning a home-and-home series against their Queen City rivals. The following night, the Raiders head to Regina to battle the Pats at the Brandt Centre.

The news comes after the WHL’s announcement yesterday that the WHL season will begin on Friday, October 1.

The Raiders and the Pats split their four meetings in the Subway Hub Centre for the 2020-21 season. Tyson Laventure led the season series with four goals and three assists in four games against the Pats.

In the Hub Centre, the Raiders posted a 9-11-3-1 record to finish fourth in the East Division and a point above their opening night opponents.

The remainder of the 2021-22 Regular Season schedule will be announced at a later date. The 2021 WHL Pre-season schedule will be unveiled on Monday.
