Ottawa, Ont. – Harrison Lodewyk and Canada Red will face off against Canada White in the semifinal of the 2021 Capital City Challenge in Ottawa on Tuesday afternoon.

Lodewyk has a goal and two penalty minutes in three round-robin games at the tournament. He helped Canada Red post a 2-1 record in the tournament to claim second in the preliminary round.

“I am starting to feel more confident,” Lodewyk said following Saturday’s 7-0 win over the Canadian National Women’s Team. “I feel like I am getting in a good rhythm and have been able to shake off a bit of the nerves of playing in a big tournament like this, and I hope I can build off my goal tonight as we move forward. It is pretty cool to be able to play against a team that will be playing in [the] Olympics. Everyone in Canada knows Mare-Philip Poulin, so it was a fun experience to be able to play against players like that.”

Canada Red will take on Canada White at 1:30 p.m. CST in the semifinal. The tournament wraps up on Wednesday with the bronze-medal game at 1:30 p.m. CST and the gold-medal game starting at 6 p.m. CST.
