Prince Albert, SK – Prior to Saturday night’s game against the Brandon Wheat Kings, Raiders captain Tim Vanstone agreed to shave his head if the fans raised more than $2,500 for Victoria Hospital.
Well, Raiders fans stepped up and raised $2,850 on Pink In the Rink Night at the Art Hauser Centre through walk-up ticket sales, a signed jersey raffle and haircuts in the Johnny Bower Lobby courtesy of Hair Revolution.
Following the 900 CKBI post-game show in the Ches Leach Lounge, Vanstone took the stage and lost his blonde locks in a matter of minutes. Once the hair was gone, Hair Revolution added a touch of pink to cap off the evening.
