Raiders’ Stewart signs with Vancouver Canucks

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders would like to congratulate defenceman Mackenze Stewart who has agreed to a three-year entry-level contract with the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks.

The six-foot-four, 216-pound blue liner has spent the last two seasons with the Raiders. In 127 contests with Prince Albert, Stewart has scored 10 goals, 10 assists for 20 points while compiling 185 penalty minutes.

Stewart was taken in the seventh round, 186th overall, in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Canucks.

“We are extremely proud of Mackenze for signing with the Canucks,” said Raiders’ General Manager Bruno Campese. “He has worked very hard over the last couple of years to earn a National Hockey League contract.”
