Raiders Re-Assign Two Players

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have re-assigned goaltender Nicholas Sanders and forward Brock Sottile to the Junior A level.

Sanders, 19, has yet to decide on his Junior A destination. Sottile, 18, will be heading to the AJHL’s Lloydminster Bobcats.

“Both players have been great examples of what it means to be a Raider,” said Raiders general manager Curtis Hunt. “We wish them the best in their hockey careers.”

The Raiders’ roster now sits at 13 forwards, eight defencemen, and two goaltenders for a total of 23 players.

Up next for the Raiders is the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday night for Pink In The Rink Night at Art Hauser Centre. The players will be wearing pink skate laces, as well as using pink stick tape and pink Gatorade towels.

As part of the night, three pink, game-used sticks signed by Cole Fonstad, Parker Kelly, and Max Martin will be available through silent auction at the game. Bidding starts at $125. All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Prince Albert Cancer Society.

Tickets are available at $5 from every adult ticket purchased will also be donated to the Prince Albert Cancer Society.
