Raiders Re-Assign Two Players

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have re-assigned two players following Saturday’s pre-season game against the Saskatoon Blades.

Defenceman Kaiden Guhle and goaltender Josh Breznik have been returned to their respective clubs.

Guhle, the first overall pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, played in two pre-season games. He picked up an assist last night. The 6’2, 176-lb blue liner from Sherwood Park, AB had 17 goals and 23 assists in 30 games for OHA Edmonton Bantam Prep in the CSSBHL.

Breznik was a camp invitee this season. The ’99-born netminder did not play in any pre-season games. He had a 6-2-0 record in nine games played for the Beaver Valley Nitehawks of the KIJHL last season.

The Raiders close out the WHL Pre-season with a home-and-home series with the Regina Pats, beginning Friday night at the Brandt Centre. The series shifts to Prince Albert on Saturday night for a 7 p.m. start at the Art Hauser Centre.

The 2017-18 WHL Regular Season begins on Friday, September 22 when the Raiders host the Moose Jaw Warriors. Game time is 7 p.m. Single game tickets are available now at the Raider Office or at raiderhockey.com.
