Prince Albert, SK – On the final night of the season, the Prince Albert Raiders honoured their top performers as the 2016-17 Year-End Awards were handed out on the ice at the Art Hauser Centre.
Prior to the game, the Scholastic Player of the Year was awarded to Adam Kadlec. The second pre-game award handed out was to Drew Warkentine, who was named the Parkland Ambulance Humanitarian of the Year. The final award handed out before the game was the Century 21 Lionel Diehl Memorial Hardest Working Player award, which was given to Parker Kelly.
Following the game, the remainder of this season’s awards were handed out. Most notably, graduating Raider and team captain Tim Vanstone was named the Lake Country Co-op Most Valuable Player. Vanstone won the Source For Sports Players Choice Award, which was voted on by his teammates.

The Raiders also presented the Raiders graduating 20-year-old players – Cavin Leth, Kolten Olynek and Tim Vanstone – with one of their own game-worn jerseys.
