RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (13-17-5-2) ring in the New Year in Regina against the Pats (18-18-3-0) at the Brandt Centre to close out the home-and-home series. In the first leg in Prince Albert on Saturday, the Raiders dropped a 2-1 game. Curtis Miske scored the Raiders’ lone goal early in the second period. It was the only shot Prince Albert got through Tyler Brown, who made 47 saves for the Pats. Curtis Meger got the start in goal for the Raiders and stopped 18 shots.

VS. REGINA: This is the third meeting of the year between the Raiders and the Pats and the first in Regina. Last year, the Raiders were 1-2-1-0 at the Brandt Centre.

DECEMBER WRAP-UP: The Raiders closed out their December schedule on Saturday night against the Pats, finishing the month with a 3-7-1-1 record. In the month, Prince Albert scored 36 goals and surrendered 48. Cole Fonstad led the team with 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 12 games played.

TARGET PRACTICE: The Raiders fired 48 shots on goal in Saturday night’s loss to the Regina Pats, but it wasn’t the highest total of the season. The most shots for the Raiders this season is 53 in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers on December 6.

ROSTER NEWS: The Raiders have returned affiliate defenceman Tyler Lowe to the AJHL’s Lloydminster Bobcats.
