Leavitt Machinery Preview – Game 15 vs. Swift Current
RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (6-5-3-0) welcome the Swift Current Broncos (10-2-1-0) into the Art Hauser Centre tonight. In their last game, the Raiders dropped a 5-2 contest to the Moose Jaw Warriors last night at Mosaic Place. Brett Leason and Devon Skoleski found the back of the net for the Raiders, but the team gave up four third-period goals to take the loss. Curtis Meger got the start in goal and made 37 saves in a losing effort.
VS. SWIFT CURRENT: This is the first meeting of the season between the Raiders and the Broncos. Last year, the Raiders lost all but one game to the Broncos in the eight-game season series.

SCORING SKOLESKI: Overage forward Devon Skoleski recorded his sixth goal of the season during Thursday night’s loss to the Warriors, extending his goal-scoring streak to three games. This is his second three-game goal-scoring streak of the season.
FIRST: In just his second game with the team, ’99-born forward Brett Leason scored his first goal as a Raider on Thursday night. Leason was acquired by the Raiders last week from the Tri-City Americans.
STREAK SNAPPED: Cole Fonstad had his six-game point streak snapped on Thursday night in Moose Jaw. Over that stretch, Fonstad put up four goals and eight assists. Jordy Stallard appeared to have his streak snapped, but he was not credited with an assist on Brett Leason’s first-period goal. That mistake has been corrected, giving Stallard a seven-game point streak.
NEXT UP: The Raiders are back in action tomorrow night as the Moose Jaw Warriors visit the Art Hauser Centre in a rematch of Thursday night’s contest. It is the final home game before the Raiders go on a season-long six-game road trip. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at raiderhockey.com, the Raider Office, or by calling 306-764-GAME.
