RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (3-4-3-0) continue their four-game homestand tonight when they renew their rivalry with the Saskatoon Blades (3-6-0-0) at the Art Hauser Centre. In the Raiders’ last game, Dawson Holt scored midway through overtime to send the Raiders to a 5-4 loss at the hands of the Vancouver Giants. Jordy Stallard, Sergei Sapego, Parker Kelly, and Sean Montgomery all scored for the Raiders.

VS. SASKATOON: This is the first game of the year between the Raiders and the Blades. Last season, the Raiders had a 3-5-0-0 record against their Hwy. 11 rivals. All three of the Raiders’ wins came at home, including a 5-1 victory at the Art Hauser Centre in the season finale on March 18, 2017.

SAPEGO STRIKES: Raiders import defenceman Sergei Sapego scored his first career WHL goal on Tuesday night against the Vancouver Giants. He also picked up his first point as a Raider when he assisted on Jordy Stallard’s goal.

DONNING THE LEAF: Raiders rookie defenceman Rhett Rhinehart was selected to represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in November. Rhinehart will be on one of three Canadian teams in the tournament.

EXTRA MINUTES: The Raiders have been working overtime in the last stretch of games. Three of their last four contests have been decided in the extra period. This season, the Raiders have a 1-3 record in overtime.

NEXT UP: The Raiders return to action on Wednesday night when the Victoria Royals visit the Art Hauser Centre. Wednesday is a Never Waste A Ticket Night.
