Gislason Shortlisted by Hockey Manitoba

Prince Albert, SK – Prince Albert Raiders prospect Tayem Gislason is one step closer to the 2019 Canada Winter Games.

The Winnipeg, MB product was one of 29 players shortlisted by Hockey Manitoba at the province’s 2018-19 Program of Excellence in June.

Gislason, listed at 6’1 and 161 lbs, was picked in the sixth round of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft in May following a nine-assist season in 30 games for Rink Hockey Academy.

Up next for Gislason is the August Camp in Winnipeg beginning on August 16. Then, the team will head to an exhibition tournament in December. The 2019 Canada Winter Games run February 15 to March 3 in Red Deer.
