Power play: Prince Albert – 8/31; Swift Current – 3/24

CRAZY EIGHTS: The Raiders’ total of eight goals scored on Saturday against the Kootenay ICE is the highest this season. The previous high was six, which was done twice – once in an overtime loss to the Regina Pats and another in a shutout against the ICE. It was the first time the Raiders have scored at least eight goals in a game since January 9, 2016 when they downed the Medicine Hat Tigers 8-2 in Prince Albert.

KELLY’S CAREER HIGH: Raiders winger Parker Kelly’s four-point night on Saturday against Kootenay was a new career high. He also scored his first WHL penalty shot goal on his second attempt. Kelly is riding a three-game point streak, scoring three goals and adding six assist in that span.

THORN IN THE SIDE: Broncos rookie Alexi Heponiemi has been having a great season at the expense of the Raiders. 10 (3g-7a) of the Finnish forward’s 77 points have come in seven games against the Raiders to lead the season series.

NEXT UP: The Raiders close out their longest home stand of the season on Friday night when the Brandon Wheat Kings visit the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here, in the Raider Office, or by calling 306-764-5348.
