SEARCHING FOR A CENTURY: Austin Glover is coming close to a career milestone. His next point will be the 100th of his WHL career. The 20-year-old centre has 34 goals and 65 assists in his career split between the Raiders and the Kelowna Rockets. In his Raider career, Glover has 70 points – 25 goals and 45 assists – in 92 games. So far this season, Glover has five goals and six assists in 14 games, but has been held off the scoresheet in the last two contests. He also leads the team this season with two power-play goals.
NOT-SO FRIENDLY CITY: The Raiders are looking to end a losing streak in Moose Jaw on Tuesday night. The last time the Raiders picked up two points in Moose Jaw was on Oct. 31, 2014 in a 6-3 win. Since then, the Raiders have lost six consecutive regular season contests at Mosaic Place.
KEEPING THE PUCK OUT: While the offence has struggled out of the gate, the Raiders’ defence and goaltending has been keeping the team in games. The Raiders have allowed 44 goals through 14 games, which is the fifth fewest in the league.
NEXT UP: The Raiders return to the Art Hauser Centre on Wednesday night when they host the Seattle Thunderbirds in the only meeting between the two teams this season. Puck drop is 7 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit the Raider Office or click here.
