Budik Invited To Czech Republic’s U20 Camp

Prince Albert, SK – Prince Albert Raiders import defenceman Vojtech Budik has been invited to the Czech Republic’s National Under-20 Training Camp.

The Czech Ice Hockey Association will hold their camp in Rokycany and Salzburg from June 9 to 16.

Budik, who hails from Holice, played in 56 games for the Raiders this season. He set a new career high in assists (25) and points (26) this season. Last summer, Budik was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in fifth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

The ’98-born defenceman has represented his country numerous times, including suiting up in two games for the Czech Republic in the 2017 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Toronto and Montreal. He has also played on the U16, U17, and U18 teams.

Season tickets for the 2017-18 season are available. Early bird pricing is in effect until June 15, 2017. For more details, click here or visit the Raider Office from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
