Raiders Weekly – Jan. 14 to 20

Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders (37-5-0-1) open their biennial BC road trip this week, beginning a six-game swing away from the Art Hauser Centre.

Last week, the Raiders took two of the three contests to wrap up a five-game homestand. The week began with a 4-1 loss to the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday night. The Raiders responded with two weekend wins, beating the Portland Winterhawks 4-2 and the Calgary Hitmen 7-3.

The Raiders’ road trip opens on Wednesday night when they take on the Cougars (16-22-1-2) in Prince George at the CN Centre. Game time is 9 p.m. CST.

On Friday, the Raiders head to Kamloops to take on the Blazers (15-22-2-1) at the Sandman Centre. Puck drop is 9 p.m. CST.

The week wraps up with a trip to Kelowna to face off against the Rockets (17-21-3-1) at Prospera Place. The game begins at 9:05 p.m. CST.

With the 2019 Canadian Junior Curling Championships taking place at the Art Hauser Centre, the Raiders are back for home games on Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2 against the Edmonton Oil Kings and the Moose Jaw Warriors, respectively.
