Raiders Weekly – Dec. 3 to 9
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders (26-1-0-0) finally get back to the Art Hauser Centre in one of their four games this week.
Last week, the Raiders took care of business on the road with three wins, running their streak to 19 games. The week began with a 4-3 victory over the Rebels in Red Deer on Tuesday. The next night, the Raiders prevailed 6-3 over the Oil Kings in Edmonton. The week wrapped up on Saturday night as the Raiders downed the Pats 5-2 in Regina.
This week, the Raiders begin a busy week on Tuesday night in Swift Current against the Broncos (4-21-1-1) at the Innovation Credit Union i-plex. Game time is 7 p.m.
The Raiders begin a three-in-three weekend in Brandon against the Wheat Kings (13-7-3-3) on Friday. The game is set to start at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the Raiders play their first home game since Nov. 20 to close out the home-and-home series with the Wheat Kings. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Raider Office and raiderhockey.com.
The week concludes with a date with the Saskatoon Blades (17-9-3-0) on Sunday afternoon at SaskTel Centre. Game time is 4 p.m.
Fans can watch all three Raider road games this week at The Rock and Iron Sports Bar at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club.
Saturday’s game against Brandon is of three Raider home games remaining before the holiday break. The other two nights feature two holiday traditions. On Wednesday, December 12, the Raiders have partnered again with the Prince Albert Optimist Club for Santa Anonymous Night. Fans are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys to the game for donation to the Salvation Army.
Then, the annual Teddy Bear Toss Presented By Canadian Tire is our final home game before the break on Saturday, December 15 against the Swift Current Broncos. Fans are asked to wrap their teddy bears in plastic bags before throwing them onto the ice following the Raiders’ first goal of the game.
