Prince Albert, SK – While it’s another light week for the Prince Albert Raiders (16-1-0-0) only have one game this week following three games in the previous seven days.

Last week, the Raiders won their lone game 7-2 over the visiting Kootenay ICE.

This week, there’s just one game for the Raiders. On Friday night, the Raiders host the Swift Current Broncos (3-14-0-1) in the team’s Remembrance Day Game. The Raiders will be wearing special jerseys to honour the people who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces. Certain players have names of family members who have served on the inside collar of their jerseys.

Tickets for the game are available at and the Raider Office. Puck drop is 7 p.m.

Some Raiders players will have busier weeks. Parker Kelly, Brett Leason, and Ian Scott are in British Columbia on Monday and Tuesday for the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series as Team WHL takes on the Russian national team. The games will be shown on Sportsnet at 9 p.m.

On the East Coast, Kaiden Guhle and Ozzy Wiesblatt continue their quest for a medal at the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Saint John and Quispamsis, New Brunswick.

Guhle and Canada Red lost their opening game 4-2 against Russia on Saturday night. Here’s the remainder of their preliminary round schedule:

  • Monday, Nov. 5 vs. Sweden, 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 6 vs. Finland, 5 p.m.

Wiesblatt and Canada Black also fell in their first game, losing 5-4 in overtime against Canada White. Here’s the rest of their preliminary round schedule:

  • Monday, Nov. 5 vs. Czech Republic, 1:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 6 vs. United States, 1:30 p.m.

The knockout stage begins on Thursday. Games can be streamed here. The medal games will be played on Saturday. The semifinals and medal games will be broadcasted on TSN.
